Let’s taste how umami is this?
Story
Umami js is known as one of an option out there for front end monitoring. I was heard that some people i know start using it, and when they give a review i always heard of positive review. And based on the author of umami, the reason behind of why he’s making umami is because they wanted to provide analytics app that focused more on simplicity. As we know, google analytics are one the biggest analytics so far if we talk about it, but how about if we or some of us like indie developer, or maybe who even start building our product, sometimes we don’t want to be depend on a ecosystem like google, or maybe they who really start from something small like me, who even start from cheap vps, i really wanted have a ownership of all our stack instead. Because they also focused on providing privacy, so if we really considering about privacy, this might be considerate as a self-hosted analytics solution.

For installing i just follow what already on umami website document. It’s pretty easy for install actually, especially they already have for docker compose version for installment, and it is really suit with our my vps current workflow.
